Pupuseria y Restaurante Martinez has been feeding Pasadena one handmade pupusa at a time. We press every masa by hand, stuff it generously, and grill it until the edges are just right — the same way it has always been done.
Beyond pupusas, the menu runs deep: tamales, yuca frita, hearty plates of carne guisada, and homemade curtido that cuts right through the richness. Everything is made in-house, nothing is rushed, and the people behind the counter actually care how it tastes.
